  • Day 1 - Arrive Broome, Derby, Bell Gorge:

    Depart Broome this morning and journey towards the breathtaking landscapes of Bell Gorge. Along the way, stop in Derby to visit the historic Boab Prison Tree. Estimated to be over 1,500 years old and measuring an impressive 14 metres in circumference, this culturally significant tree once served as a temporary holding site for prisoners during early police patrols. Later, arrive at your Wilderness Lodge and settle in for a two-night stay surrounded by the untouched beauty of the Kimberley.

    Insider Experience – Bell Gorge Wilderness Lodge

    Tonight, indulge in an incredible open-air dining experience at Bell Gorge Wilderness Lodge. Surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Kimberley, enjoy a delicious meal in a charming outback setting. This unique experience continues throughout your journey, with immersive stays at the Mitchell Falls and Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodges, where the magic of the Kimberley’s remote landscapes enhances every evening.

  • Day 2 - Bell Gorge:

    Today explore Bell Gorge, where towering cliffs frame a series of cascading waterholes. Take a refreshing dip at the top of the falls, surrounded by the gorge’s natural beauty, or challenge yourself with a hike down to the lower pool, where you can swim beneath the cascading waterfall. After your day of exploration, return to the lodge for dinner.

  • Day 3 - Galvans Gorge, Manning Creek, Mt Elizabeth Station:

    Visit Galvans Gorge for a short walk to a natural waterhole for another relaxing swim before heading to your new Wilderness Lodge. Stop at picturesque Manning Creek and enjoy lunch in the shade of the region’s impressive boab trees before taking a refreshing dip in the pristine water. Tonight, head to Mt Elizabeth Station. Nestled in the heart of the Kimberley, this half-million-acre working cattle station offers a taste of authentic outback life. Enjoy warm hospitality, rich history and a delicious Kimberley meal.

  • Day 4 - Mt Elizabeth Station, Mitchell Plateau:

    Journey deep into the heart of the remote Mitchell Plateau, where rugged landscapes give way to lush Livistona palm forests, breathtaking lookouts and cascading waterfalls that tumble into secluded swimming holes. Unwind on the private deck of your tented cabin, immersing yourself in the tranquillity of this untouched wilderness.

  • Day 5 - Mitchell Plateau:

    Enjoy a guided walk through Mitchell Plateau today to experience the power and beauty of its waterfalls and marvel at its collection of Aboriginal rock art. Along the way, stop at the serene Little Mertens Falls for a refreshing swim. Alternatively, you can choose to take an optional hike and helicopter flight.

    Enhance Your Journey – Mitchell Falls Hike and Scenic Helicopter Flight

    Venture deeper on a longer hike to witness the towering Big Mertens Falls before arriving at the top of the magnificent four-tiered Mitchell Falls. From here, take to the skies on a scenic helicopter flight for a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of this natural wonder (additional expense).

  • Day 6 - King Edward River, Drysdale River Station:

    Visit more amazing rock art galleries at the Mitchell Plateau for an Insider Experience before enjoying a swim in the clear waters of the King Edward River. Later, cross the Drysdale River en route to your new accommodation.

This evening, enjoy another open-air dinner at your lodge, where you’ll savour a delicious meal while taking in the tranquil sights and sounds of the surrounding wilderness.

  • Day 10 - Purnululu National Park:

    Enjoy a full day to explore some of Purnululu National Park’s most beautiful locations. Experience the incredible natural acoustics of Cathedral Gorge, a vast amphitheatre of vibrant rock created by erosion over millions of years. Later, stroll along Piccaninny Creek, winding your way through the park’s unique landscapes. Alternatively, you can take to the skies on an optional helicopter flight.

Then, continue to Tunnel Creek and wade through its cool, refreshing waters as you navigate Western Australia’s oldest cave system, emerging at a hidden oasis. Take a moment to admire the serene surroundings before journeying back to Broome, where your tour concludes.
