  • Day 1 - Auckland: Auckland never fails to turn on the charm, as youll discover while exploring the city at your leisure before meeting your Travel Director and fellow adventure seekers for a welcome drink tonight.
  • Day 2 - Bay of Islands: Hit the road this morning for a scenic sojourn tothe Bay of Islands. This pocket of the countrydeserves its name there are more than 140subtropical islets off the coast here, lined withblissful undeveloped and unpeopled beaches.Its undeniably beautiful, but it also holds aspecial historical significance; this is where theTreaty of Waitangi was signed in 1840, betweenCaptain William Hobson and Mori chiefs,officially denoting New Zealand as a member ofthe Commonwealth, a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experience. Your local specialist at the Treaty Grounds, quite possibly a descendantof one of the original signatories, will explain theimportance of the site, while pointing out theworlds largest ceremonial war canoe and acarved meeting house. These are just some ofthe Mori artefacts that characterise this part ofthe north coast.

Stroll the picturesque Town Basin before sinking back into your seat for the mesmerizing commute back to Auckland.
